Younus Khan quits T20 internationals
Pakistan captain Younus Khan announced his retirement from T20 Internationals after guiding the team to the World Cup triumph.
"This is my last Twenty20 game, I am retiring from T20 internationals," Younus told reporters after Pakistan beat Sri Lanka to win the Twenty20 World Cup at Lord's.
"I am 34 and I am old for this kind of cricket," he said.
Younus has played 22 Twenty20 Internationals, amassing 432 runs at an average of 25.41 with his highest score being 51.
Younus had earlier commented that the Twenty20 format was meant for fun and he would not be too disappointed even if the team lost the World Cup.
