Abdul Qadir says he has seen enough during his seven-month stint at the helm that he could easily write a best-selling book now.

The former Test leg-spinner resigned as Pakistan's chief selector on June 8 while the Pakistan team was playing in the T20 World Cup in England.

Qadir said the things he had witnessed in the board and team, he could easily write a book about it.

"I will consider it when the time comes but there is a definite need to clean up Pakistan cricket from pressure groups," he said.

Qadir had resigned claiming that he and his fellow selectors, Saleem Jaffer and Shoaib Mohammad were not being allowed to work independently.

He spoke about the interference of coach Intikhab Alam and manager Yawar Saeed in selection matters and how they had influenced the board chairman to send out show-cause notices to him and even captain Younis Khan.

The PCB on Tuesday disbanded its senior and junior selection committees and made it clear they would now appoint one committee to select all level of teams.

Former Test spinner, Iqbal Qasim has been tipped to be named the new chief selector.
