Middlesex Panthers will take on Rajasthan Royals in a historic T20 encounter at Lord’s on July 6.

Pakistan’s Sohail Tanvir will play for the Royals after missing out in the second edition of the IPL.

This is the first time that any IPL team is playing a Twenty20 match in UK, the proceeds of which will go to The British Asian Trust, one of the Prince of Wales’s charities. The match will be broadcast live & exclusive on STAR Cricket starting 2100 hrs IST.
 
The game will feature some of biggest stars of the Twenty20 game, and on the pitch will be international cricketers from England, Australia, South Africa, India and Pakistan. The Panthers will be led by their captain Shaun Udal and the squad will include Tyron Henderson, Owais Shah and Murali Kartik. In addition to Captain Shane Warne, the Rajasthan Royals will include Johan Botha, Justin Langer, Sohail Tanvir, Dimitri Mascarenhas as well as an array of Indian stars.

We are delighted to be associated with this event which is being held for such a worthy cause.”
