
Bangladesh bat after rain delay
Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza won the toss and has elected to bat against West Indies after a rain delay.
The start of the first Test match of the two-Test series between West Indies and Bangladesh has been delayed due to rain.
Hosts West Indies have picked a second-string squad for this first Test.
The side, which includes nine uncapped cricketers, was announced following a boycott by the country's players' association.
West Indies Players' Association (WIPA) on Wednesday decided to boycott the home Test and ODI series against Bangladesh after a long-pending and bitter contractual row with the cricket board remained unresolved.
