India captain MS Dhoni returned home after a grueling three-month cricketing assignment last night.

Sporting a T-shirt and a pair of jeans, the cricketer was received by his brother and friends at Birsa Munda Airport at his hometown, Ranchi.

Dhoni, who led Team India to a 2-1 victory over West Indies in the limited-over cricket series after the team's disappointing show at the Twenty20 World Cup, drove home amid tight security personnel.

Adequate security arrangement have been made at his residence.
