Shakib Al Hasan's 159 runs (ave.53.00) and 13 wickets (ave.18.76), apart from two catches, have dominated the series.
West Indies, who lost the 2009 series to England by 2-0 followed by a 2-0 series defeat to Bangladesh, have now registered four successive Test defeats.
Since defeating England by an innings and 23 runs at Kingston this year, West Indies have not tasted a Test win in their last eight outings.
Top Performer: Shakib Al Hasan
Bangladesh have won two and lost one out of three Tests played in 2009, enjoying a winning percentage of 66.66 - the best by any country this year.
On the other hand, West Indies enjoy a winning % of 11.11 this year - one win and four losses out of nine played.
Five batsmen have managed to aggregate 150-plus in the two-Test series. Tamim Iqbal has top-scored with 197 at an average of 49.25. He is the only one to post a hundred - 128 in the first Test at Arnos Vale.
David Bernard, with 191 runs at an average of 63.66, is second in terms of run-aggregate in the series. He has not only topped the batting averages but also has the distinction of registering three 50-plus innings.
It's all about numbers
Three other batsmen - Travis Dowlin (185), Omar Phillips (160) and Shakib Al Hasan (159) have aggregated 150-plus in the series.
In the bowling department, two bowlers have shared the top spot with 13 wickets each - Kemar Roach and Shakib Al Hasan while Mohammad Mahmudullah and Sammy captured 12 wickets each.
Sammy is the only bowler to bag two five-wicket hauls in the series - one each at Kingstown and St. George's, while Roach had the distinction of producing the only six-wicket haul in an innings - six for 48 at St. George's.
