The BCCI on Wednesday launched its educational programme on the Anti Doping Code with a day-long workshop.

The workshop is for the physiotherapists of its state units at its headquarters.

The workshop was conducted by Dr Vece Paes, a former hockey international, Dr Kinjal Suratwala and Indian team's physio Dr Nitin Patel.

The participants were briefed on the various points about the Anti Doping code and were given copies of hand books provided by the National Anti Doping Agency to the Board, said BCCI secretary N Srinivasan in a media release.

The Board will organise such seminars for every association for the benefit of the support staff as well as players in each of their teams during the course of the next two to three months, he added.
