Vote for The Greatest ODI batsman
The battle for the greatest ODI batsman is now down to the last eight. Keep voting to choose the best.
Five Australians started the race but only one has now remained in the fray in former opener Matthew Hayden.
All three Indians, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Virender Sehwag have made it to the quarter finals.
Espnstar.com, SportsCenter India, Score Tonight and Inside Cricket present The Greatest ODI batsman where you get to vote for the Greatest ODI batsman there ever was.
We had shortlisted 16 batsmen for you, who were paired against each other in a knockout draw. The one with the higher percentage of votes advanced to the next round.
The process will be repeated for the semi-finals and the final.
We are now down to the last eight and the contests are: Vivian Richards vs Sourav Ganguly, Sanath Jayasuriya vs Saeed Anwar, Sachin Tendulkar vs Matthew Hayden and Virender Sehwag vs Aravind de Silva.
A Tendulkar vs Sehwag battle is looming large for the semi-finals.
The winner will be announced during the Champions Trophy pre show on Tuesday, September 22.
Pairings are now available to cast the vote.
