This was revealed by Jalal Younis, the Media Director : BCB.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Kumar Sangakkara and Mashrafe Mortaza will share the stage in January, 2010 when the WC mascot is revealed to cricket lovers around the world.
However, a notable absentee in the above elite company may be Pakistani captain Younus Khan as Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been stripped off their rights to host the quadrennial showpiece.
Speaking exclusively to espnstar.com from Dhaka, Jalal Younis said, "We are proposing a tri-series between India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in January, 2010 and coincidentally the Central Organising Committee (COC) meeting will be held here (Dhaka) for the first time. So the BCB will be extending an invitation to all the asian skippers to attend the mascot unveiling ceremony".
The proposed meet in January will provide a good opportunity to the Asian captains to discuss matters relating to the game.
Interestingly, it was a regular practice adopted by the ICC wherein they used to convene a captains' meet once in a year which has been scrapped since.
However, the ICC General manager (Cricket) Dave Richardson now meets the Test playing nations' captains in their country once a year.
