Left-hand opener Shaun Marsh has returned to the squad for the seven match ODI series against India in October and November.

Marsh made a comeback to the side after recovering from a hamstring injury he had sustained earlier this year.

Jon Holland, who is currently with the Victoria Bushrangers to play the Airtel Champions League Twenty20 in India has also made it to the squad.

Holland has been majorly successful with his left arm spinner for the Bushrangers and is also expected to play a key role for his domestic team in the Airtel CL T20.

CA's National Selection Panel Chairman Andrew Hilditch expressed pleasure in the recent form of the Aussie ODI side in recent times, wherein they won 6-1 against England before defending the ICC Champions Trophy in South Africa.

“We do have four players unavailable for this tour due to injury. Michael Clarke is continuing his rehabilitation from back soreness and Mike Hussey will be the vice captain for this tour.

The last time the Australians came visting, India went down 5-2 in a seven match ODI series in 2007.
