The chief security consultant of Sri Lanka team, Lawrance Fernando, is satisfied with the security arrangements in Rajkot.
The visitors play their first ODI against India at the Madhavrao Scindia Cricket stadium in the city on December 15.
Fernando, who arrived in the city on Monday, met officials of Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) including its Honorary Secretary Niranjan Shah, City Police Commissioner Geetha Johri and her deputy Mayank Chavda during his day-long visit.
Fernando also held discussions with the security staff of the hotel where the visiting team will stay.
"I have met the officers of SCA, police officials and the team hotel to review security arrangement and I'm satisfied with the arrangements and their co-operation," Fernando said after wrapping up his visit.
Niranjan Shah said that it was a routine inspection and security consultant of the visiting team inspects the places and arrangements.

Lankan team has recently received an e-mail threat from Chhattisgarh to blow up the Motera stadium where the first Test match is going on.
Keeping in mind the terror attack on Sri Lankan team in Pakistan where some players had sustained injuries, the match has been covered with an insurance of Rs 2.5 crore, Shah said.
