"Sachin will win India 2011 WC"
BCCI president Shashank Manohar backed Sachin Tendulkar to "win India the World Cup in 2011", according to a newspaper report.
Manohar, speaking to the Times of India brushed aside all speculation on Tendulkar’s retirement from the game, saying the batting Maestro will go on to win India glory next year.
The BCCI chief also spoke to the newspaper about the Little Man's achievements, after he recently celebrated 20 years of international cricket. "The greatest thing about Tendulkar is his down to earth behaviour. It is the combination of his humility and passion for the game that has helped him survive for two decades," Manohar said.
Many former players and experts also opine that Tendulkar will continue playing for India as long as he wishes to.
