Australia pacer Doug Bollinger has been reprimanded for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct.

The 28-year-old pacer was charged with a Level 1 offence, contrary to Section 2.1.3 of the code, which relates to "showing dissent at an umpire's decision."

The charge was laid by on-field umpires Asad Rauf and Ian Gould as well as third umpire Bruce Oxenford during the fourth day's play in the second cricket Test against West Indies in Adelaide.

The offence relates to an incident that took place in the 52nd over of the West Indies' second innings when the umpire turned down Bollinger's appeal for lbw against Brendan Nash.

The player pleaded guilty at an early stage and under the provisions of the new code, the matter was determined by Chris Broad of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees without a full hearing.

Sanctions included in Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct can range from an official reprimand up to 50 per cent of his or her match fee.
