Tickets to be sold from Dec 18

Out of the nearly 40,000 seats in Barabati Stadium, around 16,000 tickets would be sold to the public for the December 21 ODI.

Sale of tickets would begin 9 am onwards from December 18, an Orissa Cricket Association (OCA) official said.

Each person would be allowed to purchase only two tickets, he said, adding that the selling of tickets would be done under close-circuit TV cameras and massive security arrangements.

Price of tickets have been fixed at Rs 400, while tickets reserved for OCA affiliated cricket players will be sold for Rs 200.

The players concession tickets would be sold at the OCA conference hall on December 15 and 16, the source added.

Since Barabati stadium has come out with few corporate boxes for the first time for the ODI, the tickets for those boxes have been priced at Rs 7000 and Rs 8000.

Similarly, pavilion tickets have been fixed at Rs 3000 while the special enclosure tickets would be sold for Rs 1500, the source said.
