
Rajkot hotel to honour Sachin
A luxurious presidential suite awaits Sachin Tendulkar at Hotel Imperial, where the Indian and Sri Lankan teams are scheduled to stay in Rajkot.
The two teams play their first ODI on Tuesday in the city and Tendulkar will be booked in the suite in honour of his recent milestones.
Tendulkar is being special treatment for completing two decades in international cricket and 30,000 runs in both forms of the game, Hotel Imperial's Director Atul Sheth said.
The suite has specially been decorated and equipped with latest technology. It has a master bedroom, a big drawing room, a dining room and two bathrooms, Sheth said.
A special 30kg cake has also been ordered for him for completing 30,000 runs, he said.
Both teams are scheduled to arrive Rajkot Sunday evening.
