Watson fined for celebration

Australia's Shane Watson has been fined 15% of his match fee for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct on Saturday.

Watson has been fined 15% of his match fee on the fourth day of the third Test against the West Indies in Perth.

The all-rounder pleaded guilty and was disciplined without the need for a full hearing having been charged for his celebrations after taking the wicket of Windies captain Chris Gayle.

Chris Broad of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees said: "Shane is a very energetic and enthusiastic bowler but on this occasion he has gone too far by running down the wicket screaming, thereby not showing due respect for the opponent.

"While handing down the punishment, I took into account that Shane admitted his mistake by pleading guilty."
