Sanga hails Lanka display
Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara praised his team's all-round effort as they sealed victory over Bangladesh in the Tri-series in Dhaka.
Sri Lanka won the toss and produced a decent performance in the field to restrict Bangladesh to 249 for nine.
Openers Mahela Jayawardene and Upul Tharanga then smashed centuries to put on 215 for the opening wicket and help Sri Lanka coast to a nine-wicket victory.
"We have been lucky with the toss and we have had the best of the conditions which has made it easier for us," Sangakkara said.
"But the players are enjoying themselves and it was a great bowling effort to keep the opposition down to 250.
"The wicket was a bit slow to start off, there was a bit of turn and the bowlers capitalised.
"Overall, a much better effort in the field."
Sangakkara also singled out Jayawardene's performance.

"Mahela is going to be a key player for us going forward and looking towards the future," he said.
"We are going to do all we can to make sure that he gets back into scoring runs and gets into the habit of performing for us.
"He has done great jobs for us in the past and he did a fantastic job. This just goes to show what he can do."
Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan blamed the defeat on a middle-order collapse.
"We had a very good foundation, but we were short by at least 30 runs," he said.
"The powerplay didn't come off very well for us and we just lost too many wickets during that period.
"We needed at least one of the top four or five batsmen to bat through the innings, but that didn't happen today.
"But we have played good cricket and hopefully we can continue to improve."
