India team on Thursday left for Dhaka to play the second and final Test against Bangladesh starting from January 24.

The Indian cricket team under coach Gary Kirsten along with the support staff boarded the United Airways Bangladesh at 9pm local time.

India registered a 113-run victory over Bangladesh in the first Test which concluded at the Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on Thursday to take a 1-0 lead in the two-Test series.

Senior batsman VVS Laxman will miss the second Test as he suffered an injury in his left hand while fielding during the fourth day of the match on Wednesday and will be returning home soon.
