The PCB chief Ijaz Butt has rushed back home from Dubai after being summoned by the President for a meeting in Islamabad.

According to sources, President Asif Zardari is expected to hold a one-to-one meeting with the embattled Butt at the President House.

Butt was in Dubai to attend a two-day International Cricket Council (ICC) moot which got underway on Wednesday but he was summoned for the meeting on Thursday.

There have been speculations that the President might just ask Butt to resign as the PCB chairman.

But sources said that the meeting has been called so that the President can get a clarification about his future plans, besides questioning him about the controversies in Pakistan cricket.
