Mithali on top of women's rankings
Former India captain Mithali Raj held on to the top spot in the batting chart in the ICC women’s rankings.
However, pace spearhead Jhulan Goswami dropped a couple of rungs to fourth in the bowling list.
Australia's Shelly Nitschke became the top-ranked bowler and all-rounder after a series of good performances in the just concluded Rose Bowl series which Australia won 5-0.
Nitschke took 11 wickets with her left-arm spinners which has helped her leapfrog team-mate Lisa Sthalekar, Holly Colvin of England and Jhulan into the number one position.
In the ranking for batters, Australia's Alex Blackwell has jumped five places to sixth position after finishing as the leading run-getter of the series with 178 runs.
Mithali is followed by English duo of Claire and Sarah Taylor in the second and third positions respectively.
