CAB instructed to stop construction
The Kolkata Municipal Corporation issued a notice to the CAB to stop the construction and renovation work at the Eden Gardens.
"We have issued a notice to the Cricket Association of Bengal to stop the construction of concrete galleries in the Eden Gardens," Mayor Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharjee said.
The KMC, in its notice, has said that the CAB did not take adequate permission from them before starting the work.
A KMC team had visited the stadium recently.
CAB, on the other hand, has claimed that they have taken the necessary permission from the PWD.
