Kalmadi slams BCCI over Games snub
After Randhir Singh, it was the turn of Indian Olympic Association president Suresh Kalmadi to criticise the BCCI's decision of not sending teams to the Asian Games.
Saying that he never wanted cricket to be a part of the Asian Games, Kalmadi said: "Cricket should not be a part of the games as it is a commercial game and different from the Olympic sports."
He also said that the board's decision is motivated by the fact that there is no prize money involved in the Asian Games.
The sixteenth edition of the Games will be held in Guangzhou, China from November 12 to 27.
