Yuvi reminds Hanif of Sobers

Legendary Pakistani batsman Hanif Mohammad has compared Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh to West Indian Gary Sobers.

Hanif was impressed with Yuvi after he saw the Punjab southpaw blast England's Stuart Broad for six sixes in an over in Durban in the T20 World Championship in 2007.

The Pakistani great said the feat reminded him of Sobers: "For a moment, I thought that Sobers was batting," Hanif told a television network.

"He is so talented. His (Yuvraj) approach, his adjustment remind me of Sobers," he said.

The Indian selectors have "rested" Yuvraj for the three Test match series against Sri Lanka and have instead inducted Rohit Sharma, an emerging right hander in the middle order, who however, has yet to play a Test match.

Yuvraj, though has been brilliantly consistent in ODI's has failed to make a mark in the longer version of the game, disappointing thoroughly in the Test matches Down Under.
