BCCI not worried about security check

The BCCI are not worried about an upcoming security inspection by an Australian delegation after a series of bomb blasts in India.

BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah said on Tuesday that the inspection is a routine procedure and the BCCI are not reading too much between the lines.

"The Australian delegation's visit to India is a routine one and the BCCI has not received any official
communication from them so far."

Stunned by the blasts in Bangalore and Ahmedabad over the weekend, Cricket Australia will be sending a recce team consisiting of officials of the Players' Association and a security consultant on August 10.

The CA on their board also said the security check was just a routine affair.

"We can understand their apprehension in sending a team of officials to inspect the venues. BCCI does not envisage any problem and I am sure they will come and play," Shah said.

Australia will reach India in October to play a four-match Test series.
