A look at the stats highlights of the third day's play in the third Test between England and South Africa at Edgbaston.
- In South Africa's innings of 314, 35 leg byes were conceded, which is a world record, eclipsing the previous record. In England's innings of 515 against India at The Oval in 2002, there were 31 leg byes out of 51 Extras.
- Kevin Pietersen's aggregate of 308 at an average of 61.60, including one century and one fifty, is the best by any batsman in the 2008 Basil D'Oliveira Trophy.
