The inaugural edition was a resounding success. Buoyed by the phenomenal success, the action now shifts to England where the event will be held from July 26-August 4th. Twelve teams will battle it out for eventual glory even as all eyes would be on India, who are the defending champions. The final is slated to be held at Oval on August 4.

The biannual event attracts lawyers and solicitors from across the globe. Incidentally the tournament will raise money for the Cricket Foundation’s Chance that is into educating youth through a state schools cricket programme. The motto of the tournament is "Cricket for Friendship", with participants aiming to promote friendship among cricketing nations.

Talking exclusively to espnstar.com, the main patron of this event, High Court lawyer Suresh Kumar said ``The Hyderabad event saw an enthralling contest. It was a pleasant departure to see the lawyers batting at the crease for the Cup instead of battling for the client before the court.

The participating teams displayed good spirit. The successful conduct in fact boosted the confidence of the international legal fraternity and paved way to make this a biennial event''.
