Indian film super star Aamir Khan walked through the streets of Kolkata in disguise to promote his upcoming film ‘3 Idiots’.

Khan has gone incognito as part of an innovative way to promote his latest film, scheduled for release on December 25.

The actor, known to have delivered some mega hits in the film industry was seen meeting locals in Kolkata.

Khan tried his luck as he went to visit former Indian skipper Saurav Ganguly in the same disguise but was turned away by the guards stationed in front of the legendary cricketer’s house.

However, Aamir went back to Ganguly’s house later in the evening without any get up, accompanied by wife Kiran Rao for good measure.

The ‘Rang De Basanti’ actor was at the Ganguly household for most of the night and presented a ring to India’s most successful captain.
