It's all in the mind for Anderson
James Anderson is striving to master the mental side of the game he believes has hampered his progress to becoming one of international cricket's best bowlers.
England paceman Anderson, 25, has been plagued by Jekyll and Hyde performances throughout his career, most recently in the 2-1 win over New Zealand when he was outstanding in Wellington but out of sorts in Napier.
"It is still quite hard for me to understand how I can go from a Test like Wellington to a Test like Napier in the space of a few days," said Anderson. "But it is something I have been working on with the coaches - to try to figure out what it is that happened, to try to put in consistent performances."
