Darren Pattinson has developed a taste for Test cricket after his surprise and controversial debut for England at Headingley.

After taking two for 95 in England's 10-wicket defeat against South Africa in the second Test, the 29-year-old is eager for another chance to prove himself at the highest level.

"It's happened a few times in my career when I've been picked out of nowhere - and at the moment I feel that anything is possible," said Pattinson. "I've got things that I need to learn about the game and I know that my next chance might not come straightaway - but I'd like to think that I can be involved again further down the track."
