PCB have again withheld their Champions Trophy sqaud after confirmation of Mohammad Asif's positive doping test.

The PCB were to name 30 probables for the International Cricket Council tournament on Friday, but a row with paceman Shoaib Akhtar over the payment of a fine forced the PCB to ask the ICC to extend the deadline to July 15.

The PCB scheduled a press conference for Monday to make the announcement following discussions among PCB management headed by chief selector Salahuddin Ahmed.

But as news broke of Asif's positive test, the PCB announced that they were putting the announcement back another day.

"The availability status of a few cricketers is still unconfirmed and hence the names of 30 players are likely to be announced on 15 July," a PCB statement said.
