Fit-again Powar back in Mumbai team

Holders Mumbai have been bolstered by the return to fitness of off-spinner Ramesh Powar for their fifth round Ranji Trophy Elite Division Group A away match against Hyderabad from December 1-4.

Powar replaces Sushant Marathe, the only change to the Mumbai outfit that took first innings honours against Railways in their previous encounter, according to a media release from selection panel convenor Hemant Waingankar.

The stocky bowler missed the match against Railways as well as the earlier tie against Himachal Pradesh.

Mumbai are lying second in the Group A table with 12 points, five adrift of toppers Tamil Nadu.

Mumbai team:
Wasim Jaffer (capt), Ajit Agarkar (vice-capt), Sahil Kukreja, Ajinkya Rahane, Prashant Naik, Usman Malvi, Vinayak Samant, Dhaval Kulkarni, Rohit Sharma, Abhishek Nayar, Ramesh Powar, Onkar Khanvilkar, Avishkar Salvi, Iqbal Abdulla and Harmeet Singh.
