Warnapura to leave SLC
Sri Lanka's first ever Test captain, Bandula Warnapura, will quit as director of operations, SLC to join the ACL next month.
Warnapura is to take up a new role overseeing the infrastructure and development of the game in Asia's developing cricket nations."I felt that I needed a change from the present environment of cricket in the country so I jumped at this opportunity when it came my way," Warnapura said. "I have been with Sri Lanka cricket for a very long time and should say had a very challenging time."
