Rampaul wrecked havoc in his first over itself when he packed off opener Gautam Gambhir on his second delivery. Gambhir hadn't even put a mark against his name by then.
Two balls later, he bundled up Rohit Sharma's innings at duck to jolt the Indian order.
Ravindra Jadeja became his third victim and Praveen Kumar added another one to Rampaul's name as India hadn't even crossed the 100-run mark at the fall of the eighth wicket.
