Cologne's Maniche has been banned for three games following his sending off in Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen.

The Portuguese midfielder was dismissed in the 86th minute for clashing with Arturo Vidal.

The German FA confirmed Maniche and Cologne have accepted the suspension.

Maniche, who joined Cologne from Atletico Madrid in the summer, will miss the matches against Bayern Munich, Mainz and Borussia Monchengladbach.
