Muller to stay with Germany U21s
Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller will have to wait a little while longer before making his senior international debut.
This was after he was told to stay with the Germany Under-21s next week
The 20-year-old was originally meant to play for the under-21s against Northern Ireland before linking up with the senior team on Sunday for their friendly match against the Ivory Coast next Wednesday.
However, Low has now changed his mind and told Muller to stay with the under-21s for Tuesday's clash in San Marino.
"I have gone through the sporting situation in great depth again today with (under-21 coach) Rainer Adrion and we have agreed, for sporting reasons, that Thomas Muller will play both European Championships qualifying matches for the under-21s," said Low.
The news will be welcomed by Bayern's general manager Uli Hoeness, who had spoken out against Muller being given his senior debut too soon.
