Klose cleared over swine flu

Miroslav Klose has been given the green light to return to action after testing negative for the swine flu.

Klose and his family were quarantined when his twin sons both caught the virus last week, but four days after the potential incubation period, the Bayern Munich striker is showing no symptoms of having contracted the virus, according to the club.

He will therefore be able to link up with the Germany national team later today in preparation for their international friendly against the Ivory Coast on Wednesday.

Already yesterday he was able to watch as Bayern defeated a Dutch under-20 selection in a friendly match at Bayern's training ground.

Luca Toni and Hamit Altintop were on target for Bayern in the win.
