Stuttgart 1-1 Hertha Berlin
Zdravko Kuzmanovic struck a late equaliser to secure a draw for Stuttgart before being sent off against Hertha Berlin .
Adrian Ramos gave Hertha the lead after 49 minutes but Kuzmanovic levelled with eight minutes to play.
The Serbian was dismissed just three minutes later for a second bookable offence.
The draw hardly helps Stuttgart, who have not won in six games and dropped to 16th place in the standings with just 11 points from 13 games.
Hertha, meanwhile, will be happy to have finally collected their first point on the road this term but remain bottom of the pile on just five points.
Before the game started, there was a minute's silence to honour Germany goalkeeper Robert Enke, who took his own life earlier this month.
Stuttgart found the back of the net after just five minutes through Ciprian Marica but the player was ruled offside.
The hosts dominated possession in the first half but could not score a legitimate goal. Alexander Hleb went just wide right after 19 minutes and Thomas Hitzlsperger and Sebastian Rudy both fired over six minutes later.
The visitors grabbed the lead four minutes after the break. Maximillian Nicu sent a ball through for Ramos, who danced around Stuttgart goalkeeper Jens Lehmann and poked home from six yards.
It was a welcome sight for Hertha fans, who had not seen their team score a goal in the Bundesliga in 490 minutes.
Stuttgart remained determined to equalise, and finally did so with eight minutes left following a goalmouth scramble.
After failing to find the target himself, Julian Schieber pushed the ball over to Kuzmanovic, who slotted home from eight yards to make it 1-1.
Stuttgart fans too were happy to finally see a goal as Markus Babbel's team had not found the net for 369 minutes in the league.
Kuzmanovic was sent off with five minutes left for a second yellow card but neither team could muster a winner.
