Mainz 1-1 Hamburg
Tim Hoogland's goal kept Mainz undefeated at home this season with a draw against Hamburg, who suffered yet another serious injury.
Tunay Torun gave Hamburg the lead after just three minutes but Hoogland equalised in the 86th minute for the hosts.
Mainz came into the game as the best home team in the Bundesliga with 16 points from six games, and Thomas Tuchel's team extended their undefeated streak to five games to remain sixth on 23 points.
Hamburg have not lost on the road this season but only have two wins in seven games, and Bruno Labbadia's men lie fourth.
Mainz nearly grabbed the lead after just two minutes. Andreas Ivanschitz sent a perfect through-ball to Aristide Bance, whose shot from 16 yards was deflected onto the right post by Hamburg keeper Frank Rost.
And Hamburg went ahead just seconds later. After some fine passing between Torun and Eljero Elia, the ball landed at the feet of Torun, who slotted past Mainz keeper Heinz Muller from 16 yards.
Hamburg fans saw another key player go down injured after 15 minutes as Nikolce Noveski clipped Elia's left ankle and the 22-year-old Holland international had to be stretchered off the pitch - joining the 10 players already missing, including the likes of Paolo Guerrero, Mladen Petric and Ze Roberto.
Mainz were close to equalising 10 minutes before the break through Bance's header from five yards, but Piotr Trochowski cleared off the line.
The hosts remained determined to level the game but Andre Schurrle's drive from 15 yards following a counter-attack went just right of goal in the 69th minute and Rost made a superb stop from Florian Heller's attempt with 10 minutes left.
And the promoted side finally drew level four minutes later. After a scramble in front of Rost's goal, the ball landed at the feet of Hoogland, who slotted home from five yards.
