Borussia Dortmund 4-0 Nurnberg
Borussia Dortmund extended their unbeaten streak to eight games with a convincing victory at home over Nurnburg.
Kevin Grosskreutz opened the scoring after just eight minutes and it was 2-0 after 13 minutes when Lucas Barrios netted.
Mohamed Zidan ended all doubts over the outcome with the third after 35 minutes while Mats Hummels completed the rout in the second half.
The result sees Jurgen Klopp's side move onto 24 points, among a host of teams vying for the European berths in the Bundesliga, having allowed just three goals in their last eight games.
Nurnberg, with just one win in six, remain on 12 points, in 17th place.
Dortmund took the lead on the counter attack early in as Sven Bender fed a diagonal pass to Grosskreutz, who slotted home past Nurnberg goalkeeper Alexander Stephan.
Dortmund nearly made it 2-0 two minutes later but Jakub Blaszczykowski failed to convert at the near post.
The hosts did double their lead after 13 minutes, Patrick Owomoyela crossing into the area for Barrios, who chested down and poked beyond Stephan.
Nurnberg pushed forward looking to pull one back but Dortmund instead increased their lead with another counter-attacking effort.
A long ball from Dortmund's half found Barrios, whose shot was blocked by Stephan but Zidan was there to volley home the rebound from four yards.
Dortmund remained the dominant team after the break but Hummels could not convert a good chance after 48 minutes while Stephan saved from Barrios 10 minutes later.
But Hummels did get on the scoresheet after 62 minutes. Stephan blocked Owomoyela's effort and Hummels headed in the rebound from 10 yards to wrap up the scoring.
