Nuremberg sign Bayern Munich duo

Nuremberg have signed defender Breno and midfielder Andreas Ottl on loan from Bayern Munich until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old Breno recently expressed his desire to move away from Bayern to earn regular first-team football, having started just one game in the Bundesliga this season.

Ottl, who has fallen down the pecking order this campaign following the arrival of Anatoliy Tymoschuk, has also been restricted to just a handful of matches this year, starting one game and coming on three times as a substitute.

Nuremberg are struggling in the Bundesliga and new coach Dieter Hecking is looking to further strengthen a squad which is one place off the foot of the table.

Slovakia international Radoslav Zabavnik has already arrived in Nuremberg ahead of his expected transfer from Terek Grozny, and is set to travel with the club to their winter training camp while the deal is concluded.

Reports have also linked Nuremberg have with a loan move for veteran Feyenoord striker Roy Makaay.
