Nurnberg vs Hoffenheim Preview

Dieter Hecking has reminded Nurnberg there is still plenty to do if they are to avoid the drop.

The Bavarians are on a four-game unbeaten run, but that streak has only taken them one point clear of the Bundesliga's bottom three with eight games left.

"I am not going to start celebrating yet - we have not achieved anything yet," said Hecking.

"We have got to be very disciplined.

"Even if our heads may be held a little higher at present, we must not try to do miracles but instead carry on the way we are."

Hoffenheim's recent form has been in stark contrast to Nurnberg's and they have won only once in their last five games.

Their poor form has seen them slip to 11th in the table, just eight points ahead of Nurnberg.

But Hecking is not reading too much into the standings, which he believes do not reflect the true potential of his side's opponents tomorrow.

"I would warn against judging Hoffenheim by their current league position," he said.

Hecking is likely to stick with the same side who beat basement boys Hertha Berlin last weekend.

Hoffenheim coach Ralf Rangnick is likely to make changes to his team, though.

Andreas Ibertsberger and Andreas Beck are both back from injury and the latter could figure from the start.

"Whether he starts will depend on our final training session," said Rangnick.
