Kaiserslautern seal Yahia deal
Bundesliga strugglers Kaiserslautern have bolstered their ranks with the signing of experienced defender Anthar Yahia.
The French-born Algeria international, 29, has signed a contract until 2015 with FCK, who are 16th in the 18-team Bundesliga having failed to win since October.
Yahia, who counts French clubs Bastia and Nice among his previous employers, has plenty of experience in Germany having played five years at Bochum prior to spending last season at Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
FCK chief executive Stefan Kuntz said on his club's website: "If a player of this quality is available on a free transfer, we have to sign him.
"Anthar Yahia has gained experience with Bochum in the fight to avoid relegation. He speaks perfect German and knows the league, so we aren't expecting there to be any problems with integration."
