By Eugene YS Han

Arsenal dominated a scrappy game against Celtic and pulled off a 3-1 victory at the Emirates.

ARSENAL

Almunia: 6
Had nothing much to do. Was well protected by his defenders.

Sagna: 7
Bombed forward with every chance.

Vermaelen: 7
Able to repel any aerial balls from Celtic.

Gallas: 7
Solid in defence and even had time to join in the attack.

Clichy: 7
Kept McGeady and Fortune quiet on the left.

Eboue: 7
Again showed that he is as talented as he is petulant on the pitch.

Song: 6
Made some mistimed tackles.

Denilson: 6
Tried to link up play in the final third of the field but lacked the assurance of Fabregas.

Bendtner: 6
Missed a great chance to put Arsenal two up on the stroke of half-time. But he was involved in two Arsenal goals.

Eduardo: 6
Caught the eye with a couple of great touches but marred his display by diving to win the penalty against Celtic. Also missed a great chance to score in the 8th minute.

Diaby: 5
A passenger but helped create Eboue's goal.

Substitutes:
Ramsey: 6

Arshavin: 7
Came on for Eduardo and scored a tidy goal.

Wilshere: 6

Subs not used: Mannone, van Persie, Silvestre, Traore.

CELTIC

Boruc: 6
Unlucky to concede the penalty when Eduardo fell with minimal contact. Did well to claw away Eduardo's curling effort on 44 minutes.

Hinkel: 5
Skinned by Clichy a few times in the match and never looked comfortable.

Caldwell: 5
Never got to grips with Eduardo - picked up a booking when he cynically chopped down Eboue. Taken off at half-time.

Loovens: 5

Fox: 6
Able to hold his own on Celtic's left side.

McGeady: 7
The focal point of Celtic but was closed down quickly.

Brown: 5
Was overran by Arsenal's midfielders

Donati: 5
Did more defending than attacking which isn't his strength. Scored Celtic's consolation goal with a well-taken volley.

Maloney: 5
Anonymous

McDonald: 5
Like Brown, struggled to hold Celtic's midfield.

Fortune: 4
Woefully out of his depth.

Substitutes:
O'Dea, Flood, Naylor.

Subs not used: Zaluska, Samaras, McCourt, Killen.
