Prandelli wants a fearless Fiorentina
Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli has urged his side to stand strong for their match with Lyon.
Prandelli has spoken out ahead of their Champions League encounter against the French side, believing his players need to go in harder for the ball.
Speaking to Tuttosport.com, Prandelli said: "Wednesday's match against Lyon will be very difficult.
"We know this through last year's experience. The experience will be very useful though, but we need to improve how we confront the teams in this league in the best possible way.
"Up until now, I have been satisfied with the work that the team has been doing. But we need to have more courage, because when we get the ball, the team needs to understand that they can hurt their opponents.
"This is what I want to see."
The Viola boss also addressed Adrian Mutu's situation and the player's availability for the team.
"Mutu is a part of the 18-man squad called to be here in France, at my disposal.
"As for his use during the match against Lyon, I will decide at the last minute," Prandelli said.
