Lionel Messi insists that Barcelona could have easily defeated Inter Milan in their Champions League game that ended as a bore draw.

"We leave feeling that we could have won the game," Messi said after the match, according to AS.

Messi had clear cut chances to seal the three points for Barca, but probably left his scoring boots at home, though he later admitted that it was not an easy match to begin with.

He added, "It was an important game, a difficult game in a massive stadium which as always was full. Sill the draw was not a bad result."

The Argentine striker also revealed that it was strange to line up against Samuel Eto'o who spent five seasons with La Blaugrana.

"It was strange playing against Eto'o. [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic is very different but we will get used to it," he concluded.
