Henry ruled out of Kiev clash
Barcelona striker Thierry Henry has been ruled out of Tuesday's Champions League clash with Dynamo Kiev through injury.
The France international picked up a thigh injury during Barca's 2-0 Primera Liga romp at Malaga on Saturday.
The extent of the damage is not yet known however, and Henry, who will be worked on by Barca's medical staff over the coming days, could be set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Pep Guardiola's potential selection problem will be eased somewhat by the current form being displayed by Swedish ace Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The former Inter Milan forward replaced Henry at the weekend and duly opened the scoring ten minutes after coming on.
Ibrahimovic shrugged off an ankle problem to climb off the bench at Malaga and his goal took his tally to five goals in five league matches since joining the Catalan giants this summer.
Ahead of Barca's Ukrainian challenge, Guardiola has admitted that his stars will face a tough and physical battle.
"We now have to recover (after Malaga) for the Champions League game against Kiev," he said.
"We know they are a team that puts pressure on you and is very physical and well organised."
Reigning champions Barca opened their latest Champions League campaign with a 0-0 draw against Jose Mourinho's Inter two weeks ago, while Kiev defeated Rubin Kazan 3-1.
