Mourinho: I'm happy with a draw

Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho has declared himself happy with his side's 1-1 draw away at Rubin Kazan.

Following on from their opening Group F draw with Spnaish giants Barcelona, Inter failed to gain maximum points again as Rubin took the lead in the 11th minute thanks to Alejandro Dominguez before the hosts gifted Dejan Stankovic the equaliser on the half hour mark.

Mourinho was nevertheless happy with the outcome in Russia, especially as Inter had forward Mario Balotelli sent off after 60 minutes.

"Considering how the game went, it's a positive point," the Portuguese coach told Sky Sport 24.

"Obviously, we want to qualify as quickly as possible. We've drawn a game which, under the circumstances, we could have lost.

"In the end, I think it's a positive result. Our opponents entered the pitch better, they played at home, in front of their home crowd, they were very motivated for their Champions League debut.

"They scored, then I saw Inter play well throughout the rest of the half, we scored and could have scored more.

"Then in the second half we know what happened. I prefer to talk about the performances of Maicon and Stankovic, rather than about those who may not have played so well."

In the wake of Barcelona's 2-0 win over Dynamo Kiev, Inter now find themselves third in Group F behind leaders Barca and second-placed Dynamo.
