Guardiola: We made mistakes
Barcelona coach, Pep Guardiola, knows his side must show improvement as they slip down to second spot behind Real Madrid.
Guardiola's charges could only muster a 1-1 draw away to Athletic Bilbao at San Mames on Saturday night to allow Madrid to climb into top spot.
The charismatic coach is not overly concerned with the result but is worried with his growing injury list.
Speaking to Marca after the game, he said:"I am more worried about recovering players, and doing well on Tuesday."
"Obviously it would have been better to be first, but we must continue. We must play with whoever we have available.
"We did not win because we made mistakes. When Toquero entered, they began to play long balls, and we forgot how to deal with them.
"San Mames creates these mistakes, and we must give credit to Athletic."
Madrid overtook the Catalan giants with a 1-0 win at the Bernabeu against Racing Santander.
