Defending champions Barcelona have been drawn against Stuttgart in the first knockout round of the Champions League.

Barca, who last season added the Primera Division and Copa del Rey crowns to their European success, will travel to Germany for the first leg.

French champions Bordeaux will meet Olympiacos while Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho faces an emotional return to Stamford Bridge after his side were paired with Chelsea.

Resurgent Bayern Munich were drawn against Fiorentina, Sevilla meet CSKA Moscow while Arsenal take on Porto.

The remaining two pairings will see a couple of high-profile players returning to a former club.

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema will return to the Stade Gerland when the Spanish giants take on Lyon while former Manchester United favourite David Beckham will go back to Old Trafford with AC Milan.

England midfielder Beckham has agreed to join Milan on loan from the Los Angeles Galaxy in January.
