Inter Milan defender, Ivan Cordoba is confident that his team will be up for it when they take on Chelsea.

The two teams will face each other in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 with Jose Mourinho returning to Stamford Bridge in what will be one of the most exciting ties of the round.

Speaking to inter.it, Cordoba said: "When you win important trophies you must overcome the best opponents,

"Tackling the big sides gives you an extra boost. Inter will be ready for this challenge in the right way, and will try to get as far as possible in the competition, maybe all the way to the end."

Cordoba and his team-mates will need to be at their best in order not to face the same fate of last season where they were eliminated at the same stage by Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United.
